Triple Orange Caipirinha

Ingredients & quantities:  

• 3 Kumquats (halved)
• 1 wedge of lime
• 2 oz rum
• 1 oz Gran Gala

Preparation & decoration:

Muddle the kumquats and lime. Shake with ice, then pour entire contents into rocks glass. Garnish with fresh basil. Shake all with ice then strain into a cocktail glass. Garnish with a flamed orange twist.
